Haris Khokhar’s reaction to Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan’s abuse allegations
Psychologist and media personality Dr Nabiha Ali Khan’s ex-husband Haris Khokhar has denied allegations of domestic violence leveled against him following the couple’s recent public spat.
In an interview with Click News, Khokhar termed the allegations of abuse as “totally baseless” and claimed that Dr Nabiha himself had admitted that physical violence was not involved.
He said that he had always treated Dr Nabiha and her son with care and respect, adding that they had even rented a separate house in an attempt to save their marriage.
Khokhar also alleged that he became isolated during the relationship, claiming that he received frequent phone calls whenever he visited his parents.
He added that he initially knew Dr Nabia only in a professional capacity and was unaware of his behavior before their marriage.
The remarks came after Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan recently alleged that her ex-husband subjected her to inappropriate behavior, saying that these experiences eventually forced her to seek divorce. The two parties have publicly offered different accounts of their relationship, and the allegations have not been independently verified.
