After the second fall this week, gold prices settled at Rs 4.62 lakh per tola.
ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan continued to fall for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, falling by another Rs 1,000 to Rs 462,136 per tola on lower international bullion prices.
September 8 Bullion fell to Rs 462,136 per tola on Tuesday. The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs 857 to Rs 396,207. The pressure on local prices came on the back of weakness in gold in the global market, where the international price fell by $10 to $4,396 an ounce.
The latest fall comes just a day after gold fell by Rs 2,400 per tola, falling to Rs 463,136 on Monday.
Silver bucked the trend and posted gains. Silver rose by Rs 10 to Rs 7069 per tola.
