Amid the global slide, gold prices in Pakistan have fallen by around Rs 10,000 per tola.
KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Thursday amid a fall in the international bullion market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs 9720, after which the price fell to Rs 432716. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by 8748 rupees to 369,422 rupees.

This comes after heavy losses in the previous session, when gold fell by Rs 12,627 to close at Rs 442,436 per tola on Wednesday.
In the global market, gold also fell by $97 an ounce to $4,102 an ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a decline in the domestic market, falling by Rs 40 to Rs 6,889 per tola. The overall trend shows continued volatility in the international bullion market, which is directly affecting local prices in Pakistan.
