Ayesha Gulalai’s allegation of ‘childishness’ against Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has come under fire for his alleged controversial remarks about army personnel, with political leaders raising slogans against the Pakistani politician.

Amidst widespread outrage, former MP Ayesha Gulalai launched a scathing verbal attack on Fazal, the same former PTI leader who made controversial claims about former prime minister Imran Khan.

In a recent video, Gulalai accused Fazlur Rahman of political opportunism, blackmail, hypocrisy and fraud and said his political career was over. He also called for his arrest and said he should be assigned “prisoner number 805”, a phrase that is a political symbol in Pakistan’s current discourse.

Gulalai leveled more serious charges against Fazlur Rehman, including claims of his ties to the establishment and that he was allegedly a child abuser. She concluded by saying that despite considering herself an Islamic scholar, she did not consider Fazlur Rahman a scholar.
