Gold prices in Pakistan. On Tuesday, 24-karat gold rose by Rs 4,700 to Rs 4,29,236 per tola amid a strong bullish trend in the global market.

According to Tuesday’s market rates, 10 grams of 24 karat gold also settled at Rs 368,000, up by Rs 4,029. The latest rally comes a day after a relatively modest rise in gold prices by Rs 300 per tola, when the precious metal closed at Rs 424,536.

New Gold Prices

The rise in local gold prices was driven by a surge in the international market, where gold rose to $47 an ounce. As a result, the global price reached $4,068 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

A sustained rise in international bullion prices has kept the local gold market on an upward trajectory, pushing the rate closer to the Rs 4.30 lakh mark per tola. Market observers say local gold prices are largely affected by fluctuations in global bullion rates and changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate.
